Then the Indie Standard series should definitely be on your list to try. Nice big chunk of solid mahogany for the body which offers up a real beefy bassy bottom end, set hard maple neck, perfectly joined and and a nice full contour neck profile which sits in the hand great. Body is bound with a simple cream binding and top nut is Tusq. Along with the die cast quality machine heads and Tune-o-Matic stop tail bridge, the Tusq nut offers up stable tuning and bags of sustain.

Indies own wax potted pickups are controlled by two volume and two tone pots as well as a 3 way selector switch. Tone is lush and laden with lower end punch while still retaining an impressive amount of brightness and overtones. The Standard Indie is an impressive guitar for the money.
